Final Fantasy 14 Demonstrates the New Viper Class

To give fans of Final Fantasy XIV a closer look at the impending Dawntrail expansion, Square Enix has made several fresh announcements during the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023 in London. This consists of a new Viper job, a Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XVI raid, and a crossover named "The Path Infernal." The Xbox Series X|S version will also undergo an open beta test from mid-January to mid-February 2024.

The two one-handed weapons used by the Viper class, which focuses on close-quarters fighting, may be joined to form a single two-handed weapon. Its goal is to inflict tremendous harm quickly.

Echoes of Vana'diel is the name of the crossover raid with Final Fantasy XI, which is named after the game's setting. A set of tasks from the Final Fantasy XVI crossover lets players battle Ifrit and get a Torgal horse. The protagonist, Clive Rosfield, will also be present. The next Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in Tokyo in January will provide further details about the expansion.

For the PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, the Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail expansion is scheduled to release sometime in the summer of 2024. Several additional features, including a Fall Guys cooperation, a level limit raise from 90 to 100, several new occupations, new dungeons, and new gear, are included in the next update. Additionally, Xbox users can play the game for the first time in almost ten years.
